Pruning Japanese Maples

We will host a talk on Japanese Maple Pruning, given by aesthetic pruner Yuki Nara. Ms. Nara has been teaching and practicing this art for many years, and we look forward to hearing her speak about why, when and how to prune Japanese Maples.

Success with Container Herbs

Herbs are easy to grow in containers when you understand that their requirements differ from plants grown in the ground. Local nurserywoman and educator Carol Morse returns to discuss container herb gardening, her favorite subject, and her strategies for success. Carol is long affiliated with the local chapter of the Herb Society of America, a varied group of herb enthusiasts who promote knowledge about and delight in the use of herbs.
