Now Taking Reservations

With early training, newly-planted fruit trees can be easily kept to a human and backyard scale. Visit our fruit-laden (yet diminutive) nursery Fuji apple tree for inspiration, and pick up a copy of this year's availability list and a Backyard Fruit Tree Pruning handout. The techniques employed to keep fruit trees small are based on nothing more complicated than common sense. It's easy. More than forty varieties, including climate-appropriate heirlooms, arrive in the nursery mid-January, but quantities are limited. Reserve your Ashmead's Kernels, Green Gages, and Dapple Dandies ahead of bareroot season.
